NABTEB ( National Business and Technical Examination Board) NABTEB A-LEVEL

The National Business and Technical Examinations Board was established in 1992 to domesticate craft level examinations which were hitherto conducted by City & Guilds, Pittmanâ€™s, and Royal Society of Arts all of UK in accordance with the provisions of the National Policy on Education.

NABTEB A- LEVEL is a programme for those who wish to gain admission into 200 level in Nigerian universities in the Business and Technical fields and those who want to upgrade themselves for promotion in the labour market.

NABTEB A Level Examinations

The Advanced Level Examination leads to the award of

Advanced National Business Certificate (ANBC);
Advanced National Technical Certificate (ANTC)

Candidates for A level programme must have written NABTEB O level and have made their five (5) credits. NABTEB A- level certificates are equivalent to OND, NCE, and so on. Therefore, with NABTEB A Level Certificate, holder is placed on level 5 in the Labour Market (especially in the civil service).

Admission Requirements

Applicants must pass five subjects at credits level including English language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings in O Level WAEC, NECO and NABTEB. Students awaiting O Level results can also apply and indicate Awaiting Result
